The method
How a book gets rebound
Every copy starts as a real, previously-read trade paperback. The cover comes off, the text block is reinforced and squared, fresh binder's board is cut, and the whole thing is cased into cotton bookcloth by hand.
The title and author are pressed in gold on the spine. A bonus bookmark with the original cover adds charm.

Every cover carries a painting in the public domain — sourced at high resolution from museum collections, and picked because it feels like it belongs on that particular novel.
